Ethereal songstress Bryde has just dropped the video to her affecting single 'To Be Brave'. It’s shot on in Dungeness – a remote headland on the coast of Kent – a place which holds special significance for Bryde.  In order to create the video, Bryde and her team spent three days with local residents who feature in the video. ‘There's a feeling of being a small dot on the horizon here and our aim was to honour the place as much as possible and highlight the striking landmarks and scale of the place while avoiding the clichès that have formed from the lifestyle magazine and fashion shoots that have been there before us’ – says Bryde. When scrolling through the credits for the video track, it’s clear that Bryde worked with some pretty fantastic women: Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey) and Mandy Shannon to name a few. This is a trait also shown in the fact that her debut LP will be published by Seahorse Music, which Bryde set up to showcase fantastic female talent. Keep one eye out for the LP, titled Like An Island, which will be out on 13^th April. -HM
